Sonics will be announcing the coaching staff for all other age 
categories and TRYOUT information next week!

Seeking Sand Jam Volunteers

If anyone is interested in working Sand Jam, we need people to work as scorekeepers and also doing the lines. There will be some compensation along with the Sand Jam t-shirt and pass for the entire event.

Registration Fees

Club registration fees for the 2014 season will be $400 per player.  New this year, as part of the registration package, each player will receive their own personalized tech-fit jersey with number and last name, a Sackville Sonics Volleyball Club hoodie, and the entrance fee for the first tournament participation.

Times and locations for team practices will be released once team selections are finalized.

Sonics Annual Auction Fundraiser is set for Saturday February 1st from 2pm-6pm. Mark this date on your calendar,further info on the auction will follow after club tryouts have taken place.

Attention: Important Tryout Information!

Sonics Volleyball Club will be respecting the New Volleyball Nova 
Scotia Tryout Policy with respect to not holding Tryouts until the 
Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation Regional and Provincial 
Championships have been completed.


An exemption has been made for the U18/U17 age category.


Therefore, the U14, U15, U16 tryout information will be posted 
sometime in November.

Other news, Sonics will be looking to set a date sometime toward the 
end of January for the Annual Sonics Club Auction and Social.

All try outs are taking place at Ecole du Sommet.  

There is a tryout fee of $10.

Coed Volleyball Drop In

Coed volleyball at MSVU during the month of July and August.

When: Sunday evenings (6pm-8pm)
Where: MSVU
Cost: $5 drop in fee

Free Mount St. Vincent Game

This is an open invitation to all SONICS players and coaches to come
out and catch some GREAT volleyball action this weekend!

This Sunday at Mount Saint Vincent University ACAA #1 ranked Mount
Saint Vincent Mystics play host to #2 ranked St Thomas University Thommies.

This match up will definitely be an exciting one.
Come out and cheer on some of our past SONICS players and
the rest of their Mystics teammates.

Admission is FREE for all SONICS players :)

Sackville Sonics would like to send out a special thanks to Greg and
Sheila MacDonnell for taking a leadership role in organizing this
year's Annual Sonics Auction.


This was a great opportunity for parents, players and coaches to come
together in a social setting and take part in a very worthwhile
fundraising endeavor.


Greg and Sheila were instrumental in ensuring that this year's event
would meet the success it did.

Thanks also to all the players who did a fabulous job of showing the
many items up for auction!
